You are two today Mr. Man. Nana is sad today, not because you are getting older but because I am. And I am no closer to understanding this old world anymore than you are. But if it were at all possible, I could just enjoy one single day the way you do....explore and ponder things for hours, eat a banana in my underwear, run through the snow with reckless abandon not feeling the cold or simply ride a tricycle in the house with a dirty face...

Then life would be good.

It has now officially been over a month since I updated. I know there are some grumbling familiy members so here are some pics! Rylan turned 5 months on the 4th and Ayden's 2nd birthday is the 11th (SOB!!)

11/1- The after Halloween sales! You can always buy stuff for Thanksgiving because of the colors being universal and it is half off!

11/2-Because it was Friday! I love Friday's, even more than Saturday's for some reason I always have!

11/3--I am thankful to live in the part of the country I do. Today DH and me took a long drive and went through the mountains and it was just breathtaking!

11/4--For lazy Sunday. We went grocery shopping and piddled in the yard(ok not like THAT!!!) Sometimes we take for granted how nice it is just to BE HOME!!

It is crazy to me because until Rylan, I thought Ayden looked exactly like him. Actually I see a lot of Athina in Ayden but Rylan? He looks like Cameron gave birth to him all by himself!

I posted this so my family will quit thinking I am nuts! LOL I remember what Cam looked like better than them, I guess because I am the mama but anyway, when I took this pic last week I knew I was justified!

Long time no blog

Well I lost my big 1 GB camera card and with it went a lot of precious pictures. I am still hoping it turns up but in the meantime I found my old 512 so here are some pics from last night when the kids came over for supper.

A day at the park

It was so nice yesterday evening Papa and I took the boys to the park.
After Ayden was telling Papa "Hamburger" and we bought one on the way, he quickly "forgot" how "hungry" he was when we got to the park and he saw the horsies.

The Fair

Saturday we took Athina, Tori and the boys to the fair. It was warmer than it was supposed to be so it was not as comfortable as the weatherman said (which was supposed to be 79 and it was closer to 88) but we had fun in the short time span we had (2 1/2 hours).
We had the boys caricatures done and Ry's looked like Ayden's 1st one. I will upload them later, they are cool.
Going to LaDonna's housewarming this weekend in Elkins (a suburb of Fayetteville/Springdale where she is a RN) going to make a fun weekend of it since we haven't had Nana and Papa fun in, well, like EVER!

Good grief I was just going on memory but when I saw the pics tonight I forgot just HOW MUCH these boys look like their Daddy. I am having double deja vu! LOL

Happy Labor Day

Yep it is the tail end of summer.


And this causes some folks to get wild!



Can you believe this one is going to be 2 months old tomorrow?



He loves to "Ping" with his brother. Poor Papa can literally have to push for an hour straight. I don't think he minds too much though!


So Papa and I are taking it easy all alone on this Monday afternoon. We had the boys Saturday night and most of Sunday then took them home and had supper with the kids.

My house is strewn with toys and I have extra dishes to do and a baby pool to clean out but I can't think of anything else worth doing today, it was all worth it, even if we are trying to locate mates to shoes all day (hmmm wonder why?)!
