News Day

Wow, December 18th huh?
I have loads of news.
Well the kiddos are getting divorced. We will support them both as we love them both dearly and Athina will always be my daughter to me.

Cam is joining the Marines. We were obviously concerned but he has decided on Reserves for now. We are proud and scared at the same time. Training will be either Parris Island South Carolina or San Diego. Cam wants S.C. Either way I tell everyone Mama and Dad will finally see the ocean! :) If it is San Diego, Dad will be on his first plane trip ever. That is exciting for him, not so much for me. I hate to fly.

News #3 We lost Lexi nearly 2 weeks ago to complications in childbirth. No puppies survived/were born. We miss her every single day. Milo was in mourning all week but seems to be getting better. He has become a real lap dog since she has gone. We are spoiling him rotten of course.

Perry and I have had sickness for 3 weeks, currently have laryngitis, thank God for internet where I don't have to speak! I think it is all viral. We have had no fever or missed work days (or laying on the couch all day days) LOL. Hopefully it will run its course and be over soon!!!!!!!

We kept Tori, Ayden and Rylan Saturday night. Tori and Ayden play so good together despite their 4 yr age difference..

You are two today Mr. Man. Nana is sad today, not because you are getting older but because I am. And I am no closer to understanding this old world anymore than you are. But if it were at all possible, I could just enjoy one single day the way you do....explore and ponder things for hours, eat a banana in my underwear, run through the snow with reckless abandon not feeling the cold or simply ride a tricycle in the house with a dirty face...

Then life would be good.

It has now officially been over a month since I updated. I know there are some grumbling familiy members so here are some pics! Rylan turned 5 months on the 4th and Ayden's 2nd birthday is the 11th (SOB!!)

11/1- The after Halloween sales! You can always buy stuff for Thanksgiving because of the colors being universal and it is half off!

11/2-Because it was Friday! I love Friday's, even more than Saturday's for some reason I always have!

11/3--I am thankful to live in the part of the country I do. Today DH and me took a long drive and went through the mountains and it was just breathtaking!

11/4--For lazy Sunday. We went grocery shopping and piddled in the yard(ok not like THAT!!!) Sometimes we take for granted how nice it is just to BE HOME!!
